A brand that’s unapologetically honest, relatable and—let’s not beat around the bush—hilarious, After being voted the nation’s favourite supermarket for several years, we were keen to elevate their success even more across social.

MY ROLE: I was one of three Copywriter’s that shared responsibility for ALDI’s TOV. Roles included writing daily reactive Twitter copy, coming up with ideas for campaigns, writing scripts for TVC ads and writing social copy for BAU and recruitment.

The Love Aisles

Previously, Aldi used Love Island memes direct from the show, but there were whisperings of another lawsuit… so we quickly nipped that in the bud and tried something completely different. For the duration of Love Island 2023, we crafted our very own Love Aisles to share across Twitter in-keeping with the cheeky TOV of the show.

MY ROLE: Came up with this campaign idea with an Art Director then supervised the copywriting of a Junior Copywriter to develop the executions.

ALDI’s BAU content

I was part of a team that came up with monthly BAU content. Usually, it consisted of jumping on trends and thinking of new innovative ways we could connect with our audience.
