Qualifications & Experience
After attaining a First in my B.A. English Literature Degree at The University of Salford, I was awarded a scholarship to study an M.A. Degree in Creative Writing and I graduated with a Merit.
I also went on to study a Foundation Degree in Psychology from The Minster Centre in London. During this time, I began teaching Literature and Drama lessons for High School and College students. I loved it so much that I’ve never stopped and now I’ve been teaching English Literature and Drama for over a decade.
English Lessons
I offer one-to-one Literature and Language lessons for GCSE and A-Level student studying exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I also teach adult learners who are retraining to start a new career path. Each lesson is specifically tailored to each student and usually lasts one to two hours.
Our English Lessons cover the following:
Creative writing
Analysing prose texts
Analysing poetry
Shakespeare
Essay structuring, spelling, and grammar
Preparing presentations
Exam revision
Personal assignments or homework
Fee: £50 per one-hour lesson.
Drama Lessons
In 2022, I was awarded a scholarship to study with The American Academy of Film and Television in Los Angeles. Additionally, I’m part of the Authentic Artists Collective which has quarterly meet-ups. I’m also a working actor and you can see my most recent credits on my Spotlight.
I offer weekly one-hour to two-hour Drama lessons to help with GCSEs, A-Levels, and drama school auditions.
Our drama lessons will cover:
Working on monologues
Mastering duologues
Character development
Studying key dramaturgs
Exam revision
Personal assignments or homework
Fee: £50 per one-hour lesson.
