Ogilvy Roots
I was Head Copywriter and Communications Coordinator for Ogilvy Roots, a D&I network within Ogilvy. For Black History Month, we did a takeover of Ogilvy’s canteen and worked with our chefs to create African and Caribbean recipes. My role was to educate employees on the heritage behind each dish in a punchy and entertaining way.
TRIM-IT: Cut The Stigma
We collaborated with a mobile barbershop to help shine a light on Black men and their mental health.
Cooking with OSU
We collaborated with healthy London-based chef to celebrate the flavours of African, Caribbean and Black culture.
Black Pound Day
We created animated social assets to help promote five Black-owned businesses on Ogilvy UK’s social platforms.
Newsletters
To keep the agency educated and informed about People of Colour who are artists, writers and musicians with a monthly newsletter. We also wrote agency wide emails concerning the Black Lives Matter movement ad hoc.
